This year I am taking on Hampton Downs in Pedal4Prostate
2 days ago I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. I am having surgery in November which I hope will provide a 100% success. I was diagnosed as a result of routine blood screening - and would not have known I had cancer if not for this test. I feel that I am one of the lucky ones in that it has been caught early. I am joining this ride to not only raise funds, but also to raise awareness of the importance of regular screening and health checks.
This year I'm taking on Hampton Downs in Pedal4Prostate to raise vital funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation who support kiwi men and their families living with prostate cancer. Please support my effort by making a donation to my page. Thanks in advance for your donation!

Well that was different!
Sunday 6th Oct Surprisingly, going round and round a race track multiple times wasn’t boring. You could learn the best way to handle the corners and hills and immediately apply it on the next circuit. But I hadn’t really done enough training so the ride was pretty tough. But all in a good cause which was meaningful to me right now. It would have been nicer if it hadn’t rained and it wasn’t windy. But you have to cope with what you’re dealt I guess, both on the ride and in life!! ShareThank you to my Sponsors
