A ride with a bigger purpose
Pedal4Prostate is a 4-hour endurance cycling challenge held at Hampton Downs Motorsport Park. Riders take on laps of the 2.7km National Circuit - solo or in teams.
You don't need to be a competitive cyclist. Nor do you need to win or set records. What matters most is your willingness to take part, share your story, and ask for support. Whether you ride hard, ride steady, or share the challenge with teammates. Every lap completed helps drive awareness and fundraising for men and families across New Zealand. This is not a race to the finish line - it's a collective effort to fund care where it's needed the most.

Sir Wayne 'Buck' Shelford
After battling non-Hodgkin lymphoma, former All Black Buck Shelford actively supports cancer awareness campaigns like Blue September. Now cancer-free, he urges all men, especially tane Māori, to get regular check ups for healthier lives.
He has also jumped on his bike on multiple occasions at Hampton Downs, to raise awareness of prostate cancer, encouraging other Kiwi blokes to go and get tested.
