Drink and carry plenty of water – hydration gels are also good.
Don’t forget to eat, especially if you are doing long rides – pack plenty of snacks.
Charge your phone so you can keep in touch and take pics. And don’t forget your fitness tracking device (Strava, Garmin or Fitbit) to make the most of your training.
