$2K🎯 smashed already - bar raised 🆙

... well that's an unexpected surprise 😲 but a great one 🥳

so to keep the "kindness" wheel rollin' we've raised our target goal up a wee bit to $2.5K (for now 😜)

and just checked our latest total donations and see we may need to lift that bar again ... 🔜

let's see what tomorrow brings eh 🤞

just $224 2GO - 5 more days left 👈

thanks to a flurry of more kind donations we're getting very close to our $2K target 🎯

so who's gonna help get us over that line and when ? 🤔

Simon, Andrew & myself were out riding around Snells 🏖️ trails this morning with several other WWRs stretching our legs in anticipation of this Sunday's special spin 😅

we're all lookin' forward to riding together and achieving our individual goals - eg laps, total distance or average speed/power over 4 challenging but FUN hours 🥳

keep up the generous giving and keep that "koha" comin'... 💸

$469 2GO with still 5 days left [gettin' closer🤏]

what a great start to the week with another awesome surge towards our $2K goal 🎯

special congrats and well done to Megan Powell (WWR Rob's daughter) - who just surpassed her personal $200 goal 🎯 ✅🥳 (plus helped increase our overall "organisation" goal👍)

keep your kind "koha" comin' friends and WWR whanau ... it's not too late and every 💸 certainly counts 🤗

$993 2GO with 7 days still left .... [we're over halfway - YAY !!]

thanks to more generous donations we've just passed the $1K halfway mark towards our target $2K goal

I know there's a lot of friends and Warkworth Riders ["WWR"] whanau out there still thinking about donating but haven't got 'round to it yet

the "great news" is ... there's still plenty of time - in fact another 7 days

so please please please donate whatever you can manage or what your heart is calling you - to support this wonderful kaupapa which will help so many of our kiwi men, their families and friends [maybe even someone you know one day]

btw - donations have ranged from $20 from a local WWR teenager (who first ride @ Hampton Downs when he was only 15) all the way up to a generous $163 koha from my dear 85 years young pensioner mum Coral [aka "Purple💜Nan" to all her moko mokos/great grandkids]

in advance and recalling those thrilling televised nationwide "Telethon" fundraising weekends gone by [some of you know the tune too] ...
"thank you very much for your kind donation - thank you very very very very much !!"

 karawhiua !! [andiamo/allez allez allez/let's GO]

2 more WWRs on board today - that makes 5 of us now !

welcome to Simon Hempseed [Point Wells] and Andrew McCulloch [Algies Bay] who have both just entered today to join our "Warkworth Riders P4P" organisation - which increases our Possie to the "Fab 5" now ... yeehaaaa !!

that'll also hopefully bring more donations for the second half of our fundraising campaign after a fantastic start over the first 4 days - nearly halfway there

and let's wait and see if any other WWRs might be tempted to follow in Simon and Andrew's tyre tracks and join our 2 wheeled Possie - the suspense is definitely building

have a wonderful weekend everyone and we look forward to seeing what next week brings in the final home straight heading towards next Sunday - stay safe out riding !!

WOW - nearly half-way to our WWR target already - nga mihi nunui !!

... just 4 days after entering online we're rapidly approaching $1K in donations [latest total $790] and nearly halfway to our $2K goal - thanks to some very kind and generous Warkworth Riders' whanau and supporters

btw - it looks like a 4th WWR is about to join our P4P Possie - welcome Simon Hempseed in anticipation [fyi - it's not his first P4P rodeo either]

and he's put the word out to some other WWRs [he's riding with next to tackle the "Kopiko" challenge from New Plymouth to Gisborne] to join him at Hampton Downs as some nice "training" for their upcoming adventure together ... stay tuned eh !

kindly keep those wonderful donations flowing in to help us reach our above target for this absolutely awesome and relevant cause that impacts so many kiwi men and their whanau

karawhiua !! [let's GO]

WWR's $2K target for 2026 !!

In previous years our Warkworth Riders have collectively raised between $1.5 to $3.5K each year they've showed up - depending on rider numbers [one year we were blessed to have 2 relay teams and several individual riders out on the track - this will be my 5th year riding since back in 2020

This year we have 3 riders entered so far - who've all just jumped on board at short notice and a lot later this time but there's still 12 more days to go eh for even more to join in ...

We're anticipating our extended Warkworth Riders whanau will back us up once again and awhi this wonderful event to raise both very important awareness of Prostate Cancer but also generously donate from their hearts to this truly worthy cause -

nga mihi nunui e te WWR whanau [many thanks WWRs]
WWR P4P Captain - Wayne Kaire

This year we are taking on Hampton Downs in Pedal4Prostate
