โ€œIf I worked my hands in wood, would you still love me?โ€

The Carpenterโ€™s Legacy

Raised in the rhythm of the mahi, conjoined to the wood and the tools. My father was a man of placid strength, a carpenter who named the strays and found his voice in the music. He taught me that even when the "parasite" tries to steal the conversation, the man remains the priority.

Standing With My Colleague:

Today, I stand with my friendโ€”fiercely independent and facing a scary road. We remind ourselves that in every conversation, we are the priority, not the illness. We speak to the man, not the parasite.

The Progression of Hope:

D --> C --> G --> D

"Save my love for loneliness, save my love for sorrow"

The Wero (The Challenge)

Our tฤne face this battle five years earlier than others. We stand in the gap for themโ€”from the hundred-dollar car ride back to the BOP to the quiet moments of care.

I'm fundraising to help the Prostate Cancer Foundation fight prostate cancer, the most commonly diagnosed cancer in NZ and the number one cancer affecting Kiwi men. Every year more than 4,000 Kiwi men are diagnosed and around 700 die.

All these men deserve to live their best life, and hundreds of families do not deserve to have their loved one taken away too soon.ย It would be awesome if you could help too by donating to help me reach my fundraising target.
