PPL Plastics Blue September

PPL Plastics Blue September

I'm fundraising to help the Prostate Cancer Foundation fight prostate cancer, the most commonly diagnosed cancer in NZ and the number one cancer affecting Kiwi men. Every year more than 4,000 Kiwi men are diagnosed and around 700 die.

All these men deserve to live their best life, and hundreds of families do not deserve to have their loved one taken away too soon. It would be awesome if you could help too by donating to help me reach my fundraising target.

Summits for Prostate Cancer

Summits for Prostate Cancer

6 Jan 2026

In 2025, I got to the highest points in the Six regions which have a Celtic Language (Cornwall, Wales, Scotland, Isle of Man, Republic of Ireland, Brittany (France) and helped raise  awareness and funds for the NZ Prostate Cancer Foundation. https://fundraise.prostate.org.nz/fundraisers/duncanmcm/six-celtic-summits-for-prostate-cancer

This year I am aiming to get to the highest points in the other main areas which have modern Celtic connections through e.g. dance, song, parts of language or other cultural connections.

This is more challenging than the 2025 climbs so I have already started training. I have also started learning a new language, Spanish, to help in my travels.
