Pots for Prostate
26 May 2025
Hi my name is Kevin and I'm fundraising for Prostate Cancer NZ.
Between now and the end of September I’ll be travelling around NZ and making pots and sculptures inspired by our beautiful country.
Adding locally sourced sand, water, rocks and wood. I’ll use my van as a mobile studio.
If you see me and my pottery wheel around I encourage you to stop for a chat and have a throw.
Everything I make will be finished in Auckland and glazed blue. Then they will be up for sale.
That’s when I’ll need “you.”
Until then I’m going to be getting in everyone’s face and asking them to donate.
This disease hits 1 in 8 New Zealand men in their life time, their families and friend are all touched by it.
If you’re a potter or anyone that wants to make a blue creation to sell and donate the proceeds? It would be very much appreciated by the team at Prostate Cancer NZ and me. Just add it to the pot!
Last year a group of us from both ends of the North Island threw pots under Mt Ruapehu for Pink Ribbon. An amazing experience and an awesome opportunity to contribute in our small way.

All these men deserve to live their best life, and hundreds of families do not deserve to have their loved one taken away too soon. It would be awesome if you could help too by donating to help me reach my fundraising target.
