I'm fundraising to help the Prostate Cancer Foundation fight prostate cancer, the most commonly diagnosed cancer in NZ and the number one cancer affecting Kiwi men. Every year more than 4,000 Kiwi men are diagnosed and around 700 die.

All these men deserve to live their best life, and hundreds of families do not deserve to have their loved one taken away too soon. It would be awesome if you could help too by donating to help me reach my fundraising target.

Remembering Mike: A Fundraiser for Prostate Cancer Foundation NZ

September is a significant month for the Andrews family - it marks the one year anniversary of our beloved Mike's passing, it's also 'Blue September', the official fundraising month for the Prostate Cancer Foundation NZ. After bravely battling prostate cancer for 9 years, Mike's journey may be over, but ours continues.

We are hosting a fundraiser in his memory, with all proceeds going to the Prostate Cancer Foundation NZ. Mike was a pillar of strength in our community, respected for his quiet confidence, resourcefulness and unwavering reliability (even if he was a little late). He could usually be found up at his 'happy place' - his beloved bush hut in the Orongorongo Valley or in his garage, under the bonnet of his Series I Land Rover. With a twinkle in his eye and a heart of gold he could fix anything, help anyone and always be counted on. His gentle strength and unassuming nature inspired us all.

By supporting this fundraiser, you'll be helping to improve outcomes for men and their families affected by this disease. Let's celebrate Mike's life by, raising awareness, and making a real difference in our community during Blue September.

Join us in remembering Mike by supporting a great cause. Your contribution will help create a brighter future for those in need.
