I’m doing the Spring Challenge an adventure race for women involving a rafting trip, a hike and a mountain bike ride. This means I’ve been doing lots of training MTB rides. And each one comes with a memory of my dad. He loved mountain biking and I so wish that he could be here to train with me, encourage me and cheer me on, but he died from an aggressive form of prostate cancer in 2018. I’d like to raise some money for this amazing charity while I train and and ride in memory of my dad

Spring Challenge Done!!!

Tuesday 11th Oct
Spring Challenge Te Anau - what an adventure! Early start with icy roads and misty river turned into a beautiful sunny and crisp day with not a hint of precipitation. We rafted, hiked and biked along the amazing course in 8.5hours, Laughter and friendship all the way, crossed the finished line to cuddles and cheers, and a big hug from Hubby who whispered “your dad would have been so proud” in my ear. 
Thank you everyone for supporting me through training and the day … and I’m already excited about next year!!
