BLUE180 TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Campaign / Event Name: BLUE180
The promoter of this fundraising campaign is Prostate Cancer Foundation of New Zealand - Te Kāhui Mate Pukupuku Repe Tātea o Aotearoa Manatōpū, trading as Prostate Cancer Foundation NZ. ("PCFNZ", "we", "us", "our").
2. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for and participating in this fundraising campaign, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any instructions provided by PCFNZ.
3. Fundraising Period
The fundraising campaign commences on 25 July 2026 at 5pm and closes at 5pm NZST on 31 August 2026 ("Fundraising Period"). Only donations received through the official fundraising platform during the Fundraising Period will be counted towards fundraising totals for prize eligibility.
4. Eligibility
Participation is open to individuals residing in New Zealand. Participants under 18 years of age must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to participate and, if applicable, to receive a prize. Employees, Board members, contractors and immediate family members of PCFNZ may participate in fundraising activities but are not eligible to receive prizes unless explicitly stated otherwise by PCFNZ.
5. Registration
To participate, individuals must register through the official fundraising platform and provide accurate and complete information. Participants are responsible for ensuring their registration details remain current throughout the Fundraising Period.
6. Fundraising Conduct
Participants agree to:
- Conduct all fundraising activities in a lawful, ethical and respectful manner.
- Represent PCFNZ accurately and in a way that supports its charitable purposes.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Not engage in misleading, deceptive, offensive or inappropriate conduct.
- Not claim that donations are tax deductible unless they have been processed through an approved PCFNZ donation channel and meet Inland Revenue requirements.
- Ensure all funds raised are deposited to their fundraising page or to PCFNZ’s bank account by 31 August 2026
PCFNZ reserves the right to remove any participant or fundraising page that it believes may harm PCFNZ's reputation or breach these Terms and Conditions.
7. Donations
Only donations successfully processed through the official fundraising platform or another fundraising channel approved by PCFNZ will be counted. Refunded, reversed, fraudulent, disputed or chargeback transactions will not be included in fundraising totals. PCFNZ reserves the right to audit fundraising totals and verify donations before confirming prize winners.
8. Prize Categories
The following prizes will be awarded:
Highest Individual Fundraiser: the 5 registered participants who raise the highest verified fundraising totals on their individual fundraising pages as at 11am 12th August 2026 will each receive a pair of tickets to the NZ Darts Masters on the 14th of August (Friday session only).
Highest Fundraising Team: the registered team with the highest verified combined fundraising total as at 11am 11th August 2026 will win 4 tickets to the exclusive meet and greet session with all of the players participating in the NZ Darts Masters, held at SkyCity on the evening of 13 August 2026.
The eligible fundraising totals are funds recorded on the fundraising pages as at 11am on 12 August 2026. Prize details will be communicated directly to participants.
9. Determination of Winners
Fundraising totals will be calculated based on verified donations received by the 11am on 12 August 2026. Winners will be determined by 1pm on 12 August 2026 and the winners will be contacted by phone and email, if we are unable to contact a winner by 6pm on the 12 August 2026 the next highest fundraisers will be awarded the prize. PCFNZ's decision regarding fundraising totals, eligibility and prize allocation is final and no correspondence will be entered into. By registering for the event, you give permission for PCFNZ to share your name with the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC)
10. Tied Fundraising Totals
If two or more individuals or teams achieve equal fundraising totals, PCFNZ reserves the right to determine a winner using an alternative method considered fair and reasonable by PCFNZ.
11. Prize Conditions
Prizes:
- Are not transferable.
- Cannot be exchanged for cash unless required by law.
- Must be accepted as awarded.
- Do not include travel costs to the event.
If a winner cannot be contacted within 5 hours of notification, PCFNZ reserves the right to award the prize to the next eligible participant.
12. Fundraising Integrity
Participants must not make donations to themselves, directly or indirectly, solely for the purpose of increasing their fundraising total or improving their chances of winning a prize. PCFNZ reserves the right to investigate unusual donation activity and may exclude any donations it reasonably believes have been made primarily to influence competition results rather than support the charitable purposes of PCFNZ.
13. Publicity
By participating, participants consent to PCFNZ using their name, fundraising story, photographs and fundraising achievements for promotional and reporting purposes, unless the participant advises PCFNZ otherwise in writing.
14. Privacy
Personal information collected during the campaign will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and PCFNZ's Privacy Policy Information will be used for administering the campaign, processing donations, communicating with participants and supporters, and reporting on campaign outcomes.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PCFNZ shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, cost or expense arising from participation in the campaign, acceptance or use of any prize, or technical issues affecting participation.
16. Cancellation or Changes
PCFNZ reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the campaign or these Terms and Conditions at any time where reasonably necessary, including where circumstances arise outside its control.
17. Rights Reserved
PCFNZ reserves the right to:
- Verify participant eligibility.
- Verify fundraising totals and donation records.
- Disqualify participants who breach these Terms and Conditions.
- Remove inappropriate fundraising content.
- Withhold prizes where fraud, misconduct or breach of these Terms and Conditions is suspected.
18. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising in connection with this campaign shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
